Students may begin lessons at any age as long as they recognize their alphabet letters A through G and have the ability to track left to right as you do when reading. Additionally, students should be able to stay focused and engaged for 20 minutes.
The subscription-based course is $19 per month and includes unlimited email support and periodic assessments. We also offer the course without support and assessments for $9 per month.
Students under the age of 12 should work closely with an adult practice partner. This means taking notes during the instructional video so you can remember the small details and also being responsible for playing the audio recordings frequently for the child and reminding them when it is practice time.

We recommend young children be able to recognize their alphabet letters A-G, track left to right as when reading, and stay focused and engaged for 20 minutes. Students under the age of 12 should work closely with an adult practice partner. The practice partner will take notes during the instructional video so they can remember the small details. They are also responsible for playing the audio recordings frequently for the child and reminding them when it is practice time. The practice tips are geared toward children, although they are valuable and applicable to players of any age. In our studios, we teach adults using the same methods we use with children.
Improvement is in direct proportion to the quality and regularity of practice. When considering practice, it is more important to emphasize quality over quantity. We suggest a minimum of 5 days a week to progress and feel comfortable with the material. The length of your practice session will vary from 20 to 30+ minutes depending on age and experience.
